Jacki Tuckfield Memorial Graduate Business Scholarship

Description: Open to African -American residents of South Florida who are enrolled in a graduate business degree program at a Florida University and plan to pursue a professional career in South Florida.
League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) GE Scholarship
Field: Business, Engineering Award: $5,000 Deadline: Jun - 15
Description: Open to minority students pursuing full-time studies leading to a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university in the U.S., classified as a college sophomore, cumulative grade point average 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) GM Scholarship
Field: Engineering Award: $2,000 Deadline: Jun - 15
Description: Open to minority students pursuing full-time studies leading to a Bachelor’s degree at a college approved by LULAC and GM with a college cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 / 4.0 scale or the equivalent, or an entering freshman with a high school cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 / 4.0 scale or the equivalent and a score of at least 29 on the ACT test (composite) or at least 1350 on the SAT test (verbal & math).
National Assoc of Black Journalists Scholarships (NABJ)
Field: Journalism Award: $2,500 - $25,000 Deadline: Mar -17
Description: Open to all student members of NABJ, pursuing a career in journalism, enrolled in an accredited college or university, and have at least one year of school remaining.
National Association of Broadcasters, Scholarships, Seminars, Events

Description: National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation awards 12 professional fellowships to people of color and women in broadcasting to attend NAB radio and television management seminars.
Sidney B. Williams, Jr. Intellectual Property Law School Scholarship
Field: Intellectual Property Law Award: $10,000 Deadline: Feb - 29
Description: This scholarship addresses the need to increase the number of the minority intellectual property attorneys and to bring these attorneys to the attention of firms and corporations as candidates for employment.
William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship for Minority Students
Field: Humanities, Social Sciences Award: $2,500 - $5,000 Deadline: Varies
Description: Open to both undergraduate and graduate minority students who have an excellent academic record, outstanding research skills, excellent writing and communication skills, demonstrate financial need, and are able to intern for 10-12 weeks full time during the summer in Washington, DC.
